This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Cabbage Patch Kids – how old does that make me?! With eBay’s recent auction of the Presidential Candidates Cabbage Patch Kids, I was pulled down memory lane. I remember cherishing my little doll and never letting it out of my sight!

In fact, my grandfather made a big production when I got a new doll, reading me the birth certificate every time I received a new “baby.” It was a very official adoption!

I mean, I know I do a lot of broadcast appearances about the election but I did not think I was the topic of a headline news brief. Literally, when I pressed play my heart started racing and I thought I may need to go to the ER. Watch the video below for and experience the hilarity. Right now the SP doll is going for $1,025 in comparison to Barack Obama’s $510. But like the race itself, you never know how it will end- we’ll have to wait until the 4th!
