The international jet set are revving their engines—the Cannes Film Festival kicks off this Wednesday, May
14th! A few movies on the docket that pique my curiosity are: CHE directed by Steven Soderbergh, SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK directed by Charlie Kaufman, and THE EXCHANGE directed by Clint Eastwood. So who’s on tap to provide the necessary star wattage on the carpet? Here are my predictions: Benicio Del Toro who stars in CHE, Katherine Keener and Phillip Seymour Hoffman who are in SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK, and perhaps Gwyneth and Joaquin who are both in TWO LOVERS. My guess is that Brad and Angie will show up at the big show too because, #1. they are currently hanging in the South of France, and #2., the missus stars in the aforementioned Eastwood flick (the pic at right is from another year BP attended Cannes).
