When the Kindle hit the market two years ago people went nuts. The concept of being able to pick numerous ebooks from a bank of over 350,000 titles and store them in a single book looking device that has a paper-esque screen was pretty awesome to book worms. Several manufactures wanted in and Sony came out with a version right away. This started the 
eReader version 2.0 war.
Both manufactures added in tweaks like larger capacity, easier uploading , bigger libraries of content to choose from and price reductions, but people wanted more. In fact, about a year ago I spoke with Doug Belgrad, Co-President of Columbia Pictures, one night backstage at a Chris Rock show. He told me that he wanted to turn all of his top producers on to the devices to help reduce the 30lb piles of scripts. However, the ability to read a .PDF (the main format for scripts) was not available at the time, so he wasn’t into it. He wasn’t alone in his needs; manufacturers listened and this is no longer the case. Now eReaders are almost perfect, are more user friendly and are gaining speed towards appearing more frequently under Christmas trees this holiday season. The two companies are still neck in neck in terms of popularity and have both been busy adding in all kinds of cool features like the ability to read .PDFs, content upload via Wi-Fi, larger capacity (the Kindle can hold over 3,500 books), longer battery life and quicker refresh rates (a.k.a. page turns).
On eBay you can find eReaders from Kindle, Sony, Hanlin and iRex, although the most popular is the Kindle. In the past 60 days, there were over 23,000 Kindle listings with the average selling price around $113. So definitely check one out for a good read!

My name is Brenda Rankin. My ID is msbrenda41. I have been a faithful Member and Very Active Buyer and Seller. Seller, except when I get RESTRICTED 3 Times in 3 weeks Without Reason, Notice, Justification. I have Ask, Begged, Pleaded and Degraded myself to the point of even making Legal Threats.
It appears that no one wants to assume the responsibility for Kicking me down 3 times without answering to me why. For some reason eBay has Rated Me as ABOVE AVERAGE EBAYER! Someone must have really screwed up if I have that kind of Rating and be treated like pure trash and criminal as I have. I have A 100% Over 100 POSITIVE FEED BACKS, NEVER LATE on Payments, No Complaints Filed. But yet, being a Single Female in Business for myself, maybe I’m just an easy target for in-experienced kid Like ERIC D. to pick at and test and push me to whatever limit possible until I bring up the word, Legal. Then I get a response from the little Coward, ERIC D. Gee, the First Response after all I had begged and pleaded for. Read my entire Statement, tell me if think I had right to get angry! After being pushed and finally responded as I did. If not, I will bow out and close my account. If You think I did have a right, then Please Investigate what is Really Going on in that Office, Restore My Account and Let me Operate My Business so that I can eat, pay my bills, and live in Dignity. Not in a shameful environment and begging for an answer to why have I been targeted 3 times in 3 weeks. I REFUSE to Beg any longer, I Refuse to bow down before this almighty ERIC D. if he is the one responsible for my Restrictions. Message: Why again I ask, was my account Restricted from Selling,
Re-listing, Revising and 3 times in 3 weeks without warning,
notification, provocation and without just cause? Why This often with a
“ABOVE AVERAGE RATING” Rated By Ebay? Not a single unpaid or late bill,
not a single bad strike, not a single bad feedback. . So why in 3 weeks
3 Restrictions. WHY. And How Long this time? I also have 100% Proof
where the 1st time cost me my Store Location and with a ax, the
neighbors CUT down my New $300 Ebay Sign. The Local TV and Newspaper
have Video and Pictures along with Police Reports. All because Everybody
put their faith in me to help them raise money so they may buy Christmas

We made a LARGE POSTER and Hung it on the Bldg. At least the media got
good photos and film of the Notice and the Damages done to my store with
eggs and rotten tomatoes and a New Ebay Sign cut down with a AX!. So, I
do think I deserve a Truthful Answer. Plus I want my account
re-en-stated unless you can provide me with a form of Fraud, Negligence
or a REASON that My Account was done in this matter 3 times in 3 weeks.
Ebay may be tough, but John Gotti and Al Capone thought they were too. I
can assure you, and this is no threat, but I am about 2 inches from
filing a Discrimination suite that I WILL NOT LOOSE! All I wanted was to
open my own little neighborhood ebay store and make a living so to eat
and keep a roof over my head. I hope ebay can provide records that this
is a Normal Practice for EVERY Customer with a Track Record like mine
that has been Abused, Slammed, and Treated Like a Pure Piece of Garbage
Three (3) Times in Three (3) Weeks!
