I just started wearing dresses again last year. They make you feel feminine and flirty, ladylike, yada, yada. It’s really the freshest wardrobe addition for spring. And there are several styles to choose from. I think some of the best are the shirtwaist, the fit-and-flare and…I really love the new maxi.
The shirtwaist dress – tailored, flatters any body shape. Perfect for a variety of working arenas, whether corporate or entrepreneurial. Add a structured belt for a business look or use the dress’ own belt for a relaxed feeling. Lands’ End has some great dresses for under $50 and I like the crisp shirt dresses from Lauren by Ralph Lauren.
The fit-and-flare - Diane Von Furstenberg makes a lot of these. These dresses work on all body types and ages. Girly yet grown up —and skims the hips.
The maxi- for an evening date now or a weekend BBQ this summer. It’s romantic and carefree. Perfect with flats, it can be kept in the wardrobe straight through the summer months to keep cool. The best part is…NO SHAVING REQUIRED!
By the way, I’m saying hello again to the babydoll (like the one Lindsay Lohan is wearing in this photo). I am sure most women have at least one babydoll hiding in their closet. Well, pull it out or win a new one on eBay since the babydoll is one of the hot spring trends. Wear it with a pair of capri leggings or long leggings impart a more mature, polished look.

[...] design. It has potential, but I don’t think that potential is yet being realised. For example this post about dresses has absolutely no links to either the designers it’s talking about, or – better – to eBay [...]
