Celebrities Say ROGAN For Target ROGAN For Barneys: Less Confusing Than It Sounds

Posted May 16th, 2008

The red carpet rolled out for Rogan for Target at Barney’s in Beverly Hills. Barneys! Target! Yeah, it’s confounding, but the clothes are cute.

Mena Suvari arrived in a leopard-print shift dress from the Rogan for Target collection. It cost a whopping $39.99!! Other attendees included Kelis, Rachel Bilson, Zoe Saldana, Felicity Huffman and Joy Bryant.

By way of clarification, I’ll just say this: You can shop the collection at Barneys stores (where Rogan Gregory’s pricey casual duds are usually sold) this weekend. And as of next week, this affordable stuff will be at Target. Love it! And apparently so do the stars.

TV Redux

Posted May 15th, 2008

It’s no secret that Hollywood loves to remake old films. However, nowadays it seems like every ancient television program is also being resurrected. Each season, a crop of new shows make their debut and consequently get cancelled—faster than a flip of a remote control. Truly, it’s no wonder execs are reverting back to the classics. Outlets are reporting that Fraggle Rock, The Electric Company, and Beverly Hills 90210 are all getting makeovers and will be ready for their reveal at some point next year. The Electric Co. and 90210 will be on the small screen while Fraggle is set to be a full-blown motion picture musical. Question is, will these properties maintain their 80s sensibility, and perhaps more importantly, their signature large coifs (example #2)?

*PS: Here’s an exclusive pic of the new “90210″
*PPS: still feeling nostalgic? Get your fix on eBay: Fraggles, Bev, and Electric Co.
